Ok, been trying to get this to work, here is what I did in images:

    Step 1
    Step 2
    Step 3
    Step 4
    Step 5
    Step 6

When I open the WoWME.exe, as seen in step 6, wow opens very quickly, then shuts down again (unfortunately I could not screenshot this).

What am I doing wrong? Am I using the wrong program for the Shapeshift model edit?

Thank you in advance for your help!! =D

I may look totally stupid but...

what kind of .MPQ file do I have to put in the Data folder? I really don't know what this file is supposed to be and when I am supposed to Download it, but it seems that modelchanging won't work without it :x

Can anybody tell me what I have to put in the Data folder?

EDIT : Oh sorry, i finally managed to modelchange

IM CLUELESS, now i have a problem that i dont know how to approach, the problem is.. after following these instructions and using glitchy's MES to create my bloodelf ---> undead mpq and then putting it in my WOW/data folder, i start up wow through WoWME.exe. Now after i do this i press f8 on my login screen and then sign onto my account only to find out it hasn't been altered in ANY apparent way. (oh and yes i logged into the race i was trying to convert)

+rep for anyone who can help me with my dilemma

If you run vista you have to give it administrative privileges. Also, i have noticed if you right click -> run that helps.

    1. Download WoWME if you don't have it
    2. Download the Model Edit you want
    3. Place the model edit (without renaming) into /Data folder (World of Warcraft/Data)
    4. Place all the files in the .ZIP/.RAR into your WoW folder
    5. Now, open WoWME.cfg in NotePad, erase all thats in it, and just place the name of the .MPQ you added

    Example:

    Code:
    I downloaded BloodElf2NightElf.mpq

    I would put..

    BloodElf2NightElf.mpq

In my WoWME.cfg, without the # or anything, and including .MPQ
Now, run WoWME from your WoW folder (DO NOT MAKE A SHORTCUT, USUALLY WILL NOT WORK)

Before you even type in your username, press 'F8'

Now, login, and the Model Edit should work

If not, your PC might just fail? O.o

TY This is exactly what I was doing wrong.
    Edit for +rep
