Model changing on/for Ubuntu

Hello,
was wondering has anyone tried how it works on Linux Ubuntu?

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 and Wine to play WoW normally, but with the WoWME fix it just says "Unable to create WoW process". Dunno if it's even possible to run it on Ubuntu yet, anyone have better info?
+has anyone tried it with Cedega or some other (if there are) similar program?

is the WoWME in your world of warcraft folder?

yes all the files are in the WoW directory

I did read on some other forums that some others had had same problem with starting WoW with WoWME (didn't see anyone answering to them), so there's slight hope it ain't the Linux causing it :P

Doubt it there's any professionals with using Ubuntu out here/anywhere that would know what's the problem but can always give it a try

Edit; ...if Ubuntu/Wine even is the cause, but I thought it would be the most probable thing, reason why I made this thread
