Editing wmos.

I have searched the guides section but i found no guides (that I could see) that helped with my question. I want to know how to change wmos. not like instance switching but like Duskwood_Inn.wmo to like StormwindInn.wmo.
is it just like a M2->M2 switch? because theres like 10 Duskwood inn wmos and 11 stormwind inn wmos. do I just switch out all ten of them to the other? or is there just one I switch? I tried switching all tehn Duskwood ones with the Stormwind ones and I do have the modeleditfix but on the loading screen it would get partway done and then just close wow without any kind of error message.
