    Help! w/ Gnome -> Undead

    a user on my forum asked this question and i don't know enough about actual player character model editing to answer it .. i'm guessing it might be somethign to do with DBC? anyways if you can help me help this person out i'd much appreciate it!

    QUOTE:

    I changed my gnome male skin ingame to appear as an Undead Male skin and got it to successfully take the shape of a Undead Male. Sadly the gear that I put on doesn't seem to be fitting right, and it only applies to the helmet. The other pieces of my rogues bloodfang fit nicely to his new undead frame, its just the bloodfang hood appears to low for his face, and his head sticks out in the back. I'd like any help on getting my undead to look right! :'(

    agrestic -
    The problem that this user is having is that when you model change headgear and shouldergear, they both have there own seperate M2 files unlike everything else body armor. These individual M2 files are listed individually as different races and genders. For example, there is Helm_Leather_B_01_DRF.m2 and Helm_Leather_B_01_DWM.m2 DRF = Draenei Female, and DWM = Dwarf Male. If you do not use the correct m2 headgear or shouldergear when model swapping, the headgear and/or shouldergear will 99% of the time come out not "fitting" the player. Tell the user to fix this is to correctly match up the acronym with your race and gender. F = Female, M = Male, and:
    DR = Draenei,
    BE = BloodElf,
    DW = Dwarf,
    GN = Gnome,
    Hu = Human,
    Ni = Night Elf,
    Or = Orc,
    Sc = Scourge, AKA Undead,
    Ta = Tauren,
    and Tr = Troll.

    Also remind him that the race comes before gender in the acronym.
    (P.S. What the user is talking about isn't DBC if you haven't noticed yet. He is just talking about normal model swapping.)
    Hope this helps!

    Re: Help! w/ Gnome -> Undead

    i thought it might require some sort of dbc (i havent really taken the time to know what that means/understand it .. i'm only a basic model editor.) and i was wrong.
