Changing races, skin stays same

I followed all directions using WES and MEF to change races, armor, etc. The armor worked great, and the race's build (size, shape, etc.) looks perfect, but the skin of my normal character (draenei) is just stuck onto the body of a tauren. Is there any reason this may be happening, or any solution to this problem?

u gotta take all the blp files found under character/tauren/male(or female) and replace them with the bloodelf ones. U can use glitchys MES to change everything for u

I believe Glitchy's MES has a race change application, which would make things a lot easier. You can find it in the guides and applications section.
