    [Question] Hide shoulders?

I was curious if there's any way to hide the shoulder pieces, whether by changing the shoulder's hex code or model editing. The shoulder piece on my guy looks ridiculously huge for him, not to mention I just can't stand the fact that a mage would need to wear any shoulder pieces. I'd appreciate any help.

you could edit the model n hex and remove the mount point for shoulders. but that would hurt all classes.

I remember reading some were about this... I will try and find it for you and it should only affect you. I think its a model in the game for shoulders that have no display and then all you would have to do is replace it in your Hex, and just like any other hex edit like this anyone who has the same shoulders as you will not have any eather.

So if i find it i will post it here but would you just want the display ID or i could Hex it for you doesn't mater to me

The ID would probably be better incase I decide to do it for anything else. Thanks a ton though. ^^

There's a shoulder model file that's actually blank that I used to use to remove shoulder graphics.

    In the Common.MPQ under Item - ObjectComponents - SHOULDER - L(and R)Shoulder_Mail_C_04.m2

Just extract that and rename it to your current shoulder model.
Or have a CSV editor point the DBC entry to that model.

Well I'm not too big of an expert in model editing, I can change hex codes easily though so uh.. do you happen to know the hex code of that item?

    -Edit-
Okay, I managed to do it with mywarcraftstudio. Wasn't that hard at all, xD. I appreciate the help guys. ^^
