    Missing textures in model replacement

Okay so I wanted to replace any model with the Human S Guard.
I did everything needed, I took HUMSGuardBig.M2 from CREATURES and pasted it instead of the dwarf model. Did the same with the texture HumanMaleGuard.blp from Creatures.

But this is what happens (sorry they're so big, and don't mind the shoulders xD):

Now why is that? Shouldn't it work fine as long as the model AND it's full texture is replaced? Furthermore, MyWarcraftStudio gives me a picture preview of my dwarf male which is intact (the Guard now) (no missing arm and leg textures)

Anyone got any idea on how to go around this problem? I noticed some gloves and boots models work with the guard and makes his limbs re appear

but there's no way I can possibly find out what item's file are they and to what should I replace it

Mhm .. I think the problem is, that your dwarf uses a hairstyle or something like that, which hides several parts of the model aka geosets. On the dwarf geoset 1 is the body, 2 is hairstyle 1, 3 is hairstlye 2. On the new model: 1 is the upper body, 2 the legs, 3 the hands. And if you are using hairstyle 2 (geoset 3) hairstyle 1 will be hidden. This ends in the legs being hidden.

I have no other idea why this would happen. I am sorry but I am not able to write a short easy to do guide on this thing since I am not always able to get things down to the absolute basics. Fixing this would require some basic knowledge. You could get all geosets together in the model or change the assignments of the hairstyles in some DBC. But as said. I cant give an easy way for you to do it.

i think its because the model is missing the submeshes needed for the bracers\gaunts and boots you are wearing. if u used a guard model it was probably stripped of extra layers when it was made. i know this happens when i use ogres, eagles, and crack elves. eagles were made from trolls and crack elves from undead models. so they are complete with all the animations but the extra layers were all stripped. you can still use armors. but this happes when you use the more elaborate stuffs...an easy way to tell if this is the problem is to log in and take off your clothes....if your legs and arms appear then thats why...capes do the same to your back. if your good with hex editing it should be possible to edit them in by hand...but it would take some time to do it...im trying to do it for a model but im not good at it. so im learning as i go and its taking forever...
