Problem with my skin in-game

I edited the molten boar, the level 7 in the orc/troll starting area. The only problem is that when i get up close, it's fine, but from say five yeards away, it's all black.

Any help would be ownage, who's going to be the first person of the new year to get rep from me?

I'm not sure how you managed it but it sure sounds like the texture's mipmaps weren't created correctly. Mipmaps are low-res versions of a texture that are stored in the same texture file. When a model moves away from the camera the game starts using progressively smaller mipmaps for a variety of reasons I can't really explain (wikipedia has a great article). Long story short, what ever blp converter you used failed. Try BLPConverter, IMO:
