How do I create an mpq?

Well, go into My warcraft studio, On the top bar it says pack.. click that, then Create MPQ, name it. Then, go back to Pack, and click add file.. Then click the "..." and find your file you want to put in then click ok. Then go to Pack and click Save and close.

ya, i'm "borrowing" this thread because I have a similar problem. I'm running mywarcraftstudio to make a patch archive (editing a race). All my other patches have CHARACTER-Bloodelf-Female-BloodelfFemale.m2
I have the file in but my edit does not show up, is it because I need the treepath and if so how do I get it?:confused:

You would have to do "CHARACTER\BloodElf\Female\Bloodelf.m2"

problems , when i try to start my MWS .. It say " Open Wow's mpq file first. what it mean i normaly speak french im a litle bit in da shit =P

Ouvre le MPQ de World or Warcraft en premier, normalement, tout les choses que t'a besoin sont dans Common.mpq, tu peux trouver sa dans .../World of warcraft/Data
