Poison proc?

Since patch 2.1.0 (If I remember right), poison procs does not make your character casting a spell (You know, your hands would become green and it seem'd that you just casted a spell) and I actually liked it that way, and I'd like to know if there's any way to make it so it does like before.

Bump, i need this too.

I've searched by myself and here is what i found :
On the actual version of World of warcraft this animation is deleted.
I reinstalled my old 1.12 and there i found old animation of the poisons (4 files)

I tried to simply copy past them from 1.12 to the actual version but there is no more proc. It seems incompatible but i may missed something.

I miss that time too...

****ing blizzard who nerf things that doesn't need nerf.
If someone can do something about this, it would be great

I was wrong, what i found is the animation of the opponent getting poisoned and i have tried some copy-paste around without any success.

I'm pretty sure that we can get the little animation back simply by finding how to apply an animation to our HAND when the poison proc because there is a file called "Nature_Cast_Hand.m2" (and also "Banish_chest.m2") wich look like exactly like when our poisons used to proc (you know, the little bubbles on our hand).

To see this animation, just donwload "WoW MODEL Viewer" and open your Common.mpq -> SPELLS -> Nature_Cast_Hand.m2 / Banish_chest.m2

If someone know how to modify M2 information to tell a %animation to launch when proc then we will get our poison animation back

As i previously said, i'm pretty sure we just have to modify Nature_cast_hand.m2 and tell it to get animated on our hand when the poison is applyied to the target. The problem is : i don't know how to do this, so i'm totally stuck and we need someone who knows how to modify that kind of details.

This is easy to do, we just have to find someone who know how to modify m2 information. Please don't discourage this thread.

I've just reinstalled a private server 2.0.8 TBC
It's weird that every poison are procing on this version. I remplaced the 2.3.2 COMMON.MPQ by the 2.0.8 one, and it did not crash.

But no proc poison. Maybe the thing is located on Patch.MPQ, or Base.MPQ, i don't know really i think if i really get it back it will be by luck.

Would be great if someone could help us.
