    THEORY Creating custom models?

    Just asking- since I have seen model edits turn mounts into lets say.. I don't know, CARS AND MOTORBIKES? I mean is this possibly to make custom models when model editing armour and/or weapons (Creatures doable?)

    Please flame me if this is stupid.

    Yes its possible. In general: everything is possible. Its just the matter if its result is worth the invested time.

    Normal .3ds models lose animations when you import them into WoW.
    You can use Milkshape though.

    Yes, but the C++ code to load ms3d files is available on their site, so you can create an import plugin for a *nix 3d modeller

    yes, but you need to get the updated one from here. Just search for "3dstom2"
