So I was wondering, I am currently using a 3ds max licensed version that I have managed to Hi-jack from school.
Thing is now I am wondering, once I made a 3d model how do I add to it:
1. Model animation (Such as swings if I wanted that, perhaps a dance.)
Would this require some sort of webcam with sensors and crap or is there some easy way by moving "buttons" that I place in my characters/creatures joints,
and then move them around in different pictures somehow (if so, is there a specific program used for this part or would 3ds max work),
add them to one and it becomes a move. Or am I totally off track?
2. How do I add a texture to a custom 3dmodel? Because when I look at the different .blp files for different creatures/characters inside World of Warcraft they all have different types, sizes and some even have 2/3 different .blp's for one model.
(This is to me more important then the animating part but both would rock.)
Send me a PM or just gimme a link to some website/thread on this forum with the info I need, will give +Rep for the one person/or persons that I (I make the call, no whining :P) think has helped me in a good way towards my goal.
Thx in advance //Pullefjun
