problem with opening Patch.mpq

as the topic says: im having a problem with opening patch.MPQ, i could opened it a few days ago before i re-installed WoW,anyone got an idea why cant i open it? +rep for answer <(^^ ,)>

Not good enough. What happens when you try to open it? Does nothing show up? can you even start Warcraft? Please, it's really hard to help someone when you don't have a clue what's wrong.

nothing happends, it just stay like it was,for example if i open up model.mpq, and then change to patch.mpq,it will still be on patch.MPQ, i mean...well just nothing happends,and yes i can open WoW with np

I remember having that problem... It's an issue with your MWCS. Sure you downloaded the one I linked? Because that happens when the MPQ is over 1.5g, and the previous versions arn't programmed to open anything higher.

having the same problem and i ahve the latest version... the program sorta crashes when i try to view a .m2 file in the Burning Crusade mpq's.

Denalian, I have no idea how to fix the not opening thing, I'm sorry. As for crashing when viewing M2s from the burning crusade, I get that too, there's an issue with the program itself, and as such, you will have to wait until linhuye puts out another version.

I had the same problem, then i found an update that Fault posted:http://www.cnitblog.com/Files/linghu..._TestPatch.rar
Then i could view some .m2:s but not all. So i figured that there was something wrong with the MPQ's.

Now i use the ones A_Snake posted. Working fine for me.
