Hi. I've been wondering how to do this. I'm currently playing vanilla offline but I guess any patch should be about the same, so anyway, I tried browsing vanilla mpq's in MyWarcraftStudio and could only find the full body models for player characters i.e. Nelf.m2 model or something with a bunch of NPC skins attached to it. In TBC data there are also a bunch of blp textures of faces, beards etc. but still only 1 model for each race. I was expecting separate heads and hairs like they do in other games so I thought I could just convert them to 3ds Max somehow and do a copy/paste work. But now I have no idea. I tried to export and open this m2 model in mdlvis like some guide said but it just appears as a single model and it even has robes on... How does this even work?? Any help much appreciated. :confused:
BTW I posted this as a question but if anyone has already done this or is willing to do this and upload then consider this a request. Oh and sorry if I posted in a wrong place. I don't visit here often
