Texture-Less Races? =s?

hey all...

well anyway, recently i've been having lagg problems when raiding and it finally came to Onyxia night with my guild after like 4 days of BWL raiding.. woot!

So I thought to lower the lagg, i'd change all the races into rats, the onyxian whelps into sprite darters and Onyxia into a Goblin Rocket Car.

All the creature edits worked fine, but the races didn't.... Just plain white texture-less rats. I got the models renamed fine to : 'HumanMale.m2 DwarfFemale.m2 GnomeMale.m2 etc...' and I renamed the .blp's as I always have done: 'HumanMaleSkin.blp'

That left me with Textureless crap really
So I've tried renaming the .blp's to everything and anything:
'HumanMale.blp'
'HumanMaleSkin.blp'
'HumanMaleFaceUpper00_00.blp'
'HumanMaleSkin00_00.blp'
'HumanMaleFaceLower.blp'

And well.... Meh, all texture-less models for every single race... Any ideas?

Out of all the model-editors here nobody knows how to fix this? :<

Changing a character race to a creature is far more difficult than just a character to character swap. It is impossible to do from purely the mpq's you have to edit chraces.dbc and creatureinfo.dbc and swap the human model/texture with the rat one.
I usually just browse around here so im not sure it would be good to get into detail, you guys don't seem to talk about dbc editing much. I can tell you how to make it so the textures and stuff work in-game if you pm me.

But I havn't had time to figure out how to get the textures to work on the character creation screen, maybe someone here knows how, and would share that information
