Changing character backgrounds?

Hey folks, just wondering if topic title is possible? I know blizz updated them for WoD and made most of em HD, big improvement so far. DK one seems buggy as heck of late though. Character scale is way off and quite frankly looks awful.

I've noticed that when playing on an incomplete build the backgrounds turn into orgrimmar/SW. It'd be great to either un**** the DK scale or to change it into a racial/custom login screen instead.
