Fishing pools to beams of light?

I just had a thought, but I'm not a modeler so I'm hoping someone might be able to clue me in on it. Well, we all know that finding those fishing holes is difficult considering they're flat and blend in with the water. What I'm hoping is, and im no modeler so don't laugh at me, but what if you turned the fishing holes into big beams of light, like the one surrounding a'dal in shattrath? It sure would make finding them a hell of a lot easier.
