gillijim's Island

i want to try to make a patch to put gillijim's island back in the game, but im gonna need files from wow beta, does anyone know where i can get an installer? i figure lots of people would want to see this as much as i would, so, if anyone has allready made a patch, just let me know, if not, any help would be greatly appreciated ( no im not asking for anyone to do this, i would like to test my model editing skills)

I would normally delete this, it should be in showoff and discussion, but I want to see you succeed on this. So I'll just move it.
Keep trying to get the alpha client. I can upload it some time if you don't find it. (not saying you'd be able to use the files though - but with some tweaking you may be able to)

I saw this thread and i have the files but the adt mpq's dont contain anything when you open them with MWCS :confused:

dk, actually, as long as he targets the correct files, it would work. ADTs target mdxs which alpha had, BUT the current wow has m2s, but it knows to target the m2s, even though it says mdx. Basically, i think itll work.

I found map files but all are in .wlw not .adt :confused: (some are .xxx) so you probably have to convert them

there is no public converter for .wlw to .adt.

ok now i know what that isle is accualy it's going to be released in WOTLK (or anything at the same location)

That has not been confirmed. It just appeared on the map that is actually a mix of the alphamaps, bcmaps and wotlkmaps. And therefore it wont be in WotLK. I bet.
