Request/Howto Mount editing?

I would prefer a guide or link to mount model changing, Im not sure in which dbc they are located but it is not item display info which i am confortable working in. Does anyone know where i can locate the model files and if editing mounts is the same as remodeling weapons/armor etc? If there are no guides or you would prefer to just do the dirty work. I'm looking for a Tawny Windrider to Swift Red Gryphon. Thanks a million!

I did I read all of them including the old .m2 guides.no one has an updated mount guide/ flying mount guide available. Perhaps you should try reading them?

All new mount models (and textures) should be in Common.MPQ or even Expansion.MPQ/Patch.MPQ. If you have read all of them it states that they'll be found in those MPQ files, also, don't diss Muat since he is a very active member in this model editing society. ^.^

yeah thay may be a bit old but if you use your common sence its not that much diffrent

I have attempted using my common "sence" and have yet to come up with a successful way of turning a flying wyvern mount into something else, if anyone has used their common sence" and found a way please post a guide or some tips.
