Color reskin on S2 Gladiator Staff?

Is it in any way to do a color reskin on the Merciless Gladiator Staff
to make it look the same size, but have colors that are very similar to this?

I have been model editing my gear to look very nice, but the staff sticks out because it's bright red while the rest is blue/black.

Also, if there is a guide to reskinning (Which I'm not sure how to do, and am not savvy in using photoshop and other editing tools), directing me to it may be a start.

That is what I thought of doing, but it turns out they don't. If you compare screenshots, you'll realize the only similar part are the shards at the end.

EDIT : I'm searching for the reskin guide but not finding it. If this edit is still here, providing a link would be much appreciated.

EDIT 2 : I'm also having trouble locating the files for the 2 staves.

NEVERMIND. I went into my itemdisplayinfo.dbc and looked at the model and texture for the staff, and just changed the end of the words in Column 2 from Red to Blue. The result could not have been better.
