First of all, I'm new, not a forums person and most likely inactive on this and any similar forum.
I don't expect anything but some honest feedback. I'll probably ignore responses in the line of "you can't do it", as I'm stubborn and an idiot.
I do realize many WoW'ers hate underwater areas, and I frankly do not really care as it's a bit of a personal project that I might put up for download once the results are satisfactory. And it's supposed to be slightly different, not intended for actual WoW gameplay but merely using parts of WoW lore and models.
As a bit of an off-project, I want to create Nazjatar city, the capital city of the Naga race.
The way I currently picture the project is as follows:
A closed part of WoW, a city about 3 times the size of Orgrimmar, completely under water.
In this line of thought, only Naga, Makrura and Murlocs would inhabit the city, with several fitting beasts roaming around.
A player/explorer is always Naga, with a few options for character appearance.
No professions, mailboxes or anything remotely resembling grinding, it's not a game but merely a place to explore/hang out.
Possibly a few quests consisting of talk-to's and possibly an item retrieval or 2. In the line of lore, as I like the Naga lore and will try to make it stand out.
I will attempt to bring in a bit of variety, meaning rich and poor parts of the city, the 3 mentioned races having their own district
and possibly a deserted dead part of town, fallen to ruins with highborne spirits roaming around.
I do realize this will be extremely time consuming, so while I'm at it, I would very much appreciate some feedback and suggestions.
