    Re: schlumpf!!

    - create the following folders: \helmfix\ITEM\ObjectComponents
    - open my warcraft studio.
    - open patch-2.mpq
    - extract the ITEM\ObjectComponents\HELM-folder to the created one.
    - open patch.mpq
    - extract the ITEM\ObjectComponents\HELM-folder to the created one.
    - open common.mpq
    - extract the ITEM\ObjectComponents\HELM-folder to the created one.

    - so you got around 3390 files in this directory.
    - rename it to "helm_".
    - create a new folder "helm".
    - go into the "helm_"-folder. press ctrl-f (search, if the hotkey differs on your system). search for *.m2 (all files).
    - copy these files in the "helm"-folder.
    - you should now got > 3000 .m2 files in \helmfix\ITEM\ObjectComponents\HELM on your hdd.
    - delete the "helm_" folder.
    - rename "helm" to "helm_"
    - create a new "helm" one.
    - now search in the "helm_"-folder for your NEW race/gender. in this case: NeM
    - copy the files found to "helm".
    - you got now ~150 files in the "helm" directory.

    - now get a batch renamer. (Batch Renamer)
    - navigate to your \helmfix\ITEM\ObjectComponents\HELM on your hdd.
    - enter "NeM" in the "replace"-box and the OLD race/gender combo in the "with"-box. in this case: OrM

    - GO!

    - now you got a lot of files, that are all named like:
    -- Helm_Circlet_C_01_OrM.m2
    -- Helm_Cloth_Holiday_Christmas_A_01_OrM.m2
    -- etc.

    - open my warcraft studio again.
    - pack (P), create MPQ archive.
    - save it in your \wow\data folder.
    - name it patch-h.mpq

    - Pack (P) | add file to archive.
    - select any file on your hdd (dont a big one ) as a placeholder.
    - add it
    - rightclick it in the treeview.
    - rename file to "ITEM\ObjectComponents\placeholder".
    - open the created folders.
    - rightclick on "ObjectComponents", import folder. now select a file in your "\helmfix\ITEM\ObjectComponents\HELM"-folder.
    - give it some time.
    - pack (p) | save and close archive.

    - run wow with an updated MEFix.
    - hf.
