Can someone tell me if there is a text editor that i can open an m2 file i so i can read it. some type of editor that will make it legible like an mdl file is in notepad? and be able to make changes and save? I cant seem to get any help with editing the m2 files in a model edit program so i thought maybe i could edit them in text form somewhere. Ive tried the 3dsm import export stuff and cant get it to work. i thought maybe if i could import mdx files into wow i could convert the m2 files to mdx edit them then use them..no luck there. I know its possible but cant seem to find any help. Even if you have some advice on how to get those methods to work would be awsome. so if you can help it would be appreciated. I should mention the models im wanting to mess with are the pre 2.0 models. thanks.
