Quickblade Glow

I am currently working on converting a gladiator's quickblade into the left warglaive of azzinoth, after making the changes the model is correct, but the purple glow of the quickblade remains.

Is it possible to remove the glow? Made a few searches looking for a solution but only found 2 posts where others have asked this question without a solution.

Yeah, I haven't been able to do it or sit down and attempt it yet, but I hear that the glows exist 'somewhere' as files you can somehow recolor...

of course, you're talking about removing it altogether.
I would assume this would be an .m2 edit, and you would be deleting one of the 'geosets' or something.

I have NO experience with .m2 editing, and really haven't seen anything done specifically to remove weapon glows.....
I know that's little or no actual help, but at least...I feel your pain.

Well I wasn't sure if you were asking to remove purple and add green (the normal one) or if you just wanted them gone...

If you just wanted to remove it this is as close as it gets for me at the moment (Very small runes on the weapon, looks good on many weapons though):

After I get back to the comp I'll work on removing the glow completely.

I actually did not know they had the green glow on them, after spending some time looking at it I did find something like a Glow_purple32 that I assumed was the file in question, but I did not know how to go about removing it, going to take a look at the file you uploaded when I get a chance.

if you DBC edited em it would just glow with your current enchant (mongoose on mine and crusader on the other)
