Warlock/Hunter Pet Model Swapping or Morphing

I have recently been using the Evermorph program, and it has been working very well. But the reason I wished to try it out was to change the appearance of pets.
I had heard of people morphing pets with this program, though it seems that feature is no longer in the current version of Evermorph. Is this true?

If this is the case; model swapping would be my only other option. I have used model swaps before but I have never been able to swap on my own.

Are there any respectable guides out there that are up to date on model swapping? (MPQ editing/patching)
