In need of some quick help

At least I hope it's quick. I'm trying to make my own model edits so I don't have to rely on others to get exactly what I want as well as probably making it easier/faster to do it myself.
Right now I have the file names changed for what I want and the .mpq made with the files in it. Of course it doesn't work, I checked one of the other patches I had and noticed the files were in a "CREATURE --> _______ --> (files)" folder kind of order. The problem? My .mpq doesn't have any folders in it, nor do I know how to make them. Can anyone help me with this or is there something completely different I'm doing wrong?

Tbh im not sure i understood, but you should do( in example if you want your tauren bearform to look like a tigon): C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\CREATURE(Create a paint file here for later use)\DruidBear\(Import tigon files here and rename em to bear names) Then open MWS and click Pack->Create MPQ archive, select the Pain file, write Patch-# in the name field and press enter.

I know this is a bad explenation, but its the best i could on a computer without WoW and MWS.

Thanks but I finally figured it out. Had to put the creature folder into the data folder, then when I was putting the files in I had to type the path to get to the files.

bah, I bugged out the forums for myself for some reason, couldn't access the site...


but anyone got an answer to my hair change question?...dont tell me it's permanent...
