Are race conversions detectable by Blizzard?

I model edited a lot pre-TBC when you didn't need to run a separate exe to run WoW with the model edits.

Has this made it more detectable? If so has anybody here been banned as a result?

Not really just make sure you have the updated exe. obviously youre still going to get banned if you do something stupid like campfire>darkportal

I checked all applicable stickies and I couldn't find a link to the latest exe to run it. Could you point me in the direction of one or?

I tried that one a while, I put the .exe in my WoW folder but it only gives me an error when I try and running it. I figured it was just out of date, but I got a similar error again just now.
