What's the go with live model editing?

I used to do a lot of advance model editing back in 07 and haven't since.
I may be mentally handicapped in the sense that I can't find any information as to what is required for model edit patches to work these days?

Is there still a ModelEditFix.exe in production.

Could someone please explain what is now required for custom patches to work on live 4.1 WoW?

    *unpins fire extinguisher*

thank you however to anyone who can answer this for me.

    cheers.

I don't know if you still need the info, but..

You'll need the program from http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...n-remover.html.

Using that program, you check "Disable wow.mfil check", "Disable signaturefile checks", and "Maximize patch number limitation". Your client can now run patches now, but you have to follow a certain format. They must be named "wow-update-XXXXX.mpq", where XXXXX is a number that is not taken by other update patches, and is higher than the others for best result. In addition, the folders inside the mpq must all be inside one main folder called "base".
