Need help with glove editing

I have a question for you me and my friend cannot seem to figure out.

I am switching my gloves from the spellfire ones, to the frostfire ones. Spellfire is like a thin skin only texture where the frostfire ones are thick.

I changed the models to get the frostfire glove textures, but they are thin and do not look the way they are supposed to.

How do i change this?
