    (question/request) advanced model editing

as i havent seen it yet here i thought id try my hand at making a model edit
to create raziel (Legacy of Kain) (a quite old but once popular idea imo)

my idea is to try to copy the geo sets and stuff for zul'jin's scarf
and the wings off a sucubus (unless theres better)

and add them into a orc m > undead m "hybrid" edit (simply replacing a orc skin for undead)

so i know that IF its possible, i need to somehow add and position the geo sets and what ever else properly
but will the animations play properly on a different model or are animations "fixed" onto specific models and would break?

basically i could use a few pointers, references to necessary programs and associated guides, a bit of help to get on track

or if someone's really feelin generous and could help or make the mod for me
as i have no experience further than recolours and minor model swaps
(did druid bear to gorilla once model&skin only) and havent done even that since early TBC days
(by "do it for me" i mean make/ try it with your WoW version then hook me up with a guide)

will need links for 3.3.5 compatible tools
obviously if i do it it will only work for 3.3.5, and will most likely be half baked

again that all pending on whether its possible which i hope someone who knows what theyr talking about could tell me
(we all know how it goes, nub ego -> flame-bash-grief, and all that shtick)

    sorry bout the messy post,

See the post what Tigurius said, as far as I read you want to combine parts of a model with animations. You could try the method that Tigurius wrote then.
