Extract into Data Folder?

So i followed this guide:

I downloaded the file ( nightelf male -> ud male) and the latest version of the modelchange.exe and put the .exe in my wow folder. Then i extracted the ne male to ud male.rar in the data folder, run the exe, but it does not work.
Whereto exactly do i have to extract the NE_Male_to__UD_Male.rar? Simply in the data folder or in a sub-folder? What did i miss?

You need to make sure the MPQ is named something like patch-5.
patch 3-9 and patch a-z all work.
