DBC Error

Hey MMOwned I was wandering... I have this problem with DBC editor where I try to edit Moonkin form to something else such as Dire Furbolg and all it does is give me an Error and corrupts the file that im editing, this has happened with mount swaps as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated and would be put to good use

What DBC Editor / What file?
CreatureDisplayInfo.DBC?

The DBC Editor is just 'DBC Editor' and yes it was CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc

That happens to me randomly sometimes if I try to use DBC Editor. I don't really know why, unfortunately. Most of the time, I just try again and it will work. You could also just try converting the dbc file to csv and edit it in excel, or just try a different dbc editor.

How do you convert to csv?

Use this: DBCUtil dbcutil.rar Just drag the dbc file onto it and it will convert it.

No prob. I've had the same problem too for awhile :P though it takes longer to convert it and convert it back, at least it doesn't crash..

No! FFS, don't use DBCUtil. Use Taliis. It's the best DBC Editor out there. DBCUtil screws a lot of stuff up I find..

I have used Taliis before but never for DBC editing but will give it a go
