Night Elf Female Moonkin --> Night Elf Female

Since I've answered the first question myself, I'll move onto the next instead.

Managed to swap the moonkin model for a standard night elf female, but no armor shows. I can probably guess that this is because no armor shows on the original moonkin model. My new question is, is it possible to make the armor show?

No, it is not possible. the reason is because it is still considered as a moonkin M2 but then in the shape of a nightelf. Considering moonkin M2 doesn't use any armor, there won't show any armor even if you swap it with a M2 that can wear armor.
