Druid Reskin problem - One area not changing color. Thoughts?

    .

    This:

    makes this:

What's up with that shoulder area? I have looked at all patches, all mpq's, and I can't seem to figure out where it's pulling that from? Or perhaps part of my file isn't working with the ..... yeah, I have no idea.

Anyone ever hit this one before?
Tried to use wowmodelviewer's Export Texture list to help me out... no help at all. as long as I don't change the color within WMV as I'm looking at it, it lists only the DruidCatDarkBlue.blp as the only blp. Hmph.

PS: Crazy rainbow colors were my attempt to narrow down the problem area. Did not help! XD

Might be seperate. Considering you got wowmodelviewer, click on file>export all textures and convert them to PNG, maybe then you will see which spot you are missing.

EDIT: The shoulderpart contains also a circle, but I cannot see a circle other then the orange and yellow parts, so i guess it's either in a seperate file or try changing the whole texture into black, that means also the transparent section, and see if that works.

Isn't there a transparent portion on your texture file exactly where the arm part is (compare both parts where the crescent shoulder tattoo is). If that spot is uncolored and transparent, it might be showing the color of the background because that portion of the model is transparent.

    .

If I'm understanding you correctly, I think you're right. I thought of this in bed last night as I couldn't sleep. In MyWarcraftStudio, when I uncheck the "Allow blending" box, the transparent parts become colored, and it's the correct color. So I'm thinkin' yeah, it's getting it from behind the alpha channel from the middle of the right hand side, below the ruff. I'm going to have to start working on my mac, since I have photoshop proper on it, gimp doesn't seem to be handling the alphas very well, in tga or png.

I really need to learn more about alpha chans, I feel like I really need a mastery of it to continue skinning.
