    Total untextured world.

I wanted to know if there was a way to remove all the textures of the world to leave it to the "Green" untextured texture.. This would probably help for weak computers to save on resources. I have never used nogg-it before I just wanted to know if it was possible before starting to format my computer to get WINXP to use nogg-it.

Also if you already have one, posting it would be nice, if not and it being possible, ill work on it and post it here.

    Total untextured world.

Well, if you only play the game, to be better, and to pwn people, and dont care a shit about the environment, then well... True, it would speed up your computer to remove textures, but if you want to remove textures, then I dont suggest using Noggit at all. If you dont care about the environment, how would you ever become a world builder? And btw, you dont need noggit to remove textures. Simply change every texture in WoW to 1 simple plane texture.

in other words, he simplest (albeit not quickest) way would be to get a program that can browse and edit MPQ's, such as MyWarcraftStudio.

once you got that try this:
    - find or make a simple plain texture (neon greenis harsh on the eyes, maybe a simple gray idk
    - go thru WoW's MPQ's and find every ground texture (they're in folders named by zone, not hard to get them all)
    - recreate the folder trees of all the textures you want to replace, and make copies of the new texture (the grey one) and rename them to the EXACT names of the textures your replacing
    - package all of this into an mpq using MWCS and load it up.

in essence what your doing is trickign your game so when it tries to load a texture, it loads your grey one instead....i hope that makes sense.

or, if you dont wanna do all that fuss, you could just go through all the textures in wow and corrupt them somehow (raname them from .blp to....idk, .wooo lol). this would cause wow to not be able to load them, in which case you would usually get the neon green default texture (or wow crashes /shrug)...either way i;d maek a backup of your entire wow folder just in case..i mean you ARE intentionally BREAKING the game, lol

I imagine ground textures are among the least resource occupying parts of the game. I think what would make a significant difference (and would probably be a lot easier to do) is to replace character models with cubes or something. This would immediately eliminate gear (and all its particle effects and the like), as well as animations.

    World of Minecraft, anyone?

You can remove all textures in Taliis Then you need to patch it and you're world will be white.. But you need to have a base texture in order for your client not to crash (so just pick the texture you want as the base.. as in white or black or something

Indeed but in PvP, It's useful to see the gear the enemy is using.. I'm mainly doing this because im a very competitive player and I want to run the arena perfectly on my laptop without lags (5v5)
