Title swaps?

Hello , i have a question about title swap.
Recently i have been reading some guides for swapping titles with DBC and ladik MPQ , it doesnt work at all. Everytime i log onto wow it either crashes or its not working. I think the main problem is saving into a MPQ file. Is there any other guides that is active or recently updated?

If you are using a version of WoW Before 3.2.2a (I believe) You need a modeleditfix to run the patches. Search for the link around MMOwned.
If not, try Cromon's DBC tool. You can edit them without converting them to CSV and back. It hasn't never worked for me.

the strange thing is about DBC , I extracted the chartitle.DBC file > open with DBC and then change the title in what i want. The next step i need to make it into a patch.MPQ file, how am i supposed to do that?

To make a new MPQ file you can use Ladik's MPQ Editor.

Do i need to switch more files in it except the "Chartitle.DBC"? because thats really confusing me

No, just find the title you want to change for an example "%s Jenkins" and change it to whatever you'd like, for an example
"%s LOLolOlolCUSTOMTITLE" and save the DBC file. And when you make the MPQ file, make sure you put the DBC file in a folder named "DBFilesClient".

steps i did:
MPQ editor > open local-ENGB file and extract "Chartitle.dbc"on my desk. Open DBCeditor swapped bloodsail admiral title to Vengeful Gladiator > Save.open ladik MPQ again > made new MPQ file > named to "patch-8.MPQ" > right mouseclick new folder > name it "DBFilesClient" > swapped the chartitle.dbc into the DBFilesClient > drag patch-9.MPQ into worldofwarcraft/data

and when i log in it crashes . I uploaded it what i've done

It seems you're extracting it from the wrong MPQ file ;P Try using "patch-enGB-3.mpq" instead of "locale-ENGB.mpq"

i have also a problem with mount to mount swap . I downloaded orange raptor > spectral tiger and green warhorse> spectral tiger but only one of them work, if i delete one of them the other works again. So whats the problem :<

The problem with the mounts is that the patches overwrites eachother so you'll only have one of them in effect at the same time. You could make someone merge them if you'd want both of them to work. And for the title, let me know what you want to change and I'll do it for you. :]

Bloodsail Admiral > Vengeful Gladiator
