Flight Frm --> A'Lar flight animations

Just recently changed Epic Druid Alliance flight form into A'lar the Phoenix. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it was made to fly at 280% and it looks ridiculous when it flies

My question: Is there any way to either 1. remove the 'run' (rapid flapping) animation or 2. replace it with a mount flying animation?

Also, has it been done? I'm using .m2 conversion, not dbc edits.

Hmm, I don't know if it's possible, but did you try a change with the phoenix mount Ashes of A'lar? Since that is a mount it should work, shouldn't it?

Did try that, but crashed as soon as I loaded in game.
