Need help with Model Injecting

when we use glitchy's guide to model edit we can turn m2 to obj, but everytime we try to open the obj file in 3ds, it crashes. when we do vice versa injecting a model seems to result in nothing. meaning it won't work. we tried everything we can find on mmowned and google. need help asap please..

we are trying to completely replace the item not just edit the existing wow items.

Glitchy's Modelinjecter is outdated and won't work with Wotlk models anymore.
