I'm trying to create a custom model using the lastest WoW client version (3.3.3) but I'm experiencing problems getting it to work. I hope that someone here can help me.
I'm working with 3D Max Studio. First of all, I create a simple model (a cube or something like that because I noticed that there are problems working with big and complex models with the tools). After that, I convert it to M2 using 3dstom2.exe (the lastest version available at GoogleCode MCApps project) and I create the texture using the BLP converter. I import M2, SKIN and BLP into an MPQ archive but when I look at the model using ModIt i can only see a white cube like if it has no texture reference.
Am I maybe making some mistake when creating the M2? What texture flag and texture type (asked by 3dstom2.exe prompt) stand for? Do I need to use M2Modder to link a model to a BLP? Must I remove modding protection using Model Edit Fix?
