Spell Swapping/DBC Editing to previous versions of Display!

Disclaimer: As I alredy know the basics of spell swapping using the ID's of WoWhead, Thottbot etc, that doesn't help! I need to know how I can find the display ID of the spells before they where changed in the patches and swap them with the current display! Like the old Blast Wave for example! Please! It's bugging the crap out of me!

Okey so I guess it's all self-explainotory. I can't find SQUAT about this on ANY forum, site or in any video! I was hoping one of you veterans in DBC editing could help me out here, as I know many have posted threads including a Spell display Swap containing the previous unexisting version in the current patch files. If I require the MPQ files from the version I want the spell swap from, I pretty much have them all! Please help me out here. Gettin' desperate

Maybe I can help you.
I am not sure what you want to know but I can tell you how to successfully spell swap at patch 3.3.3+

You need mywarcraftstudio to extract the spell.dbc file from patch-enGB-3.MPQ
Then use the program Tallis to edit the dbc file.
To spell swap. find the spell id (from WoWhead). Look in the the first row for that same spell id. Then go to the middle of the rows.(row 137 or something) Find the row with the spell name. Then go to the fifth row to the left of the spell name. That number is the spell animation. Change that number to change the animation.

I appreciate the help, but did you even READ my disclaimer? :P That's exactly what I alredy know! I need to find swappable ID's from earlier versions. The WoW Databases only have the current version supportable for the current patch!
