i am just a bit confused... i dont understand how to install the dark matter blade... i wanted to replace my current weapon model (Sharpened Fang of the Mystics) with it... but im just getting lost -.-

Im lost doesant really count as a good thread title... But anyway.

Also, tell us more info... where you got the patch from, etc.

But according to this thread - http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...r-blade-7.html - the weapon hasnt even been released.

Once it is, there will be a mpq file available for download. download it, put it in World of Warcraft\Data and name it patch-#.mpq except replace # with a number from 4 to 9.

Then run wow... On the thread it will say a display ID. you need a weapon that has that display ID. you can create a weapon on a private server, that uses the display id. To create the weapon, you make one through the Items table in the database.

To edit it to a display ID that is already there is difficult, and if you are planning on doing this in retail WoW, you are ****ing nuts because of the Warden (Banbot) xD
