    [Question]Ground texture detail

Well I'm curious how one work with the ground textures like flowers grass etc.

I haven't been able to find a guide about it and I figured it's more to it than just passive doodads since these things appear depending on what ground detail you want during gameplay.

If I remember correctly, most of that information was secret last time I checked.. I'm not sure anymore tho, I've been out of the loop for so long.

I can give you a few hints tho. Check out the World\NODXT tree path, and also take a peek at the DBFilesClient -> Groundeffectsdoodad.dbc and the Groundeffecttexture.dbc

    Best of luck

    Thank you.

    I give it a look

Encountered a funny thing I like to mention. The skybox over Outland Testing area is not the same as default skybox, but it's the exact same sky, I wonder how that works.

Why would people hide it anyway? It's the internet, everything can be found.

Thanks for the help Tigurius, i got advised to add it manually through noggit, but
what you linked might help if I want to make custom stuff.
