Hi folks. I'm currently working on an area change in Azshara, something big where I'll be changing models, doodads, skies, etc.
So, I've encountered a few problems:
1) First one is very basic: I've swapped all the Tilesets with others, except two which I can't seem to find: the basic rock texture in Azshara, and the beach texture. There are 6 different "AshzaraRock*.blp" files in there, and I tried swapping each of them, but the texture never changed in-game. On the off-chance, does anyone know where these could be? I've looked in "TILESET/Generic" as well, but nada.
2) My main question: I'm trying to get rid of (well, swap) the MASSIVE temple in the middle of the naga ruins (the "Ruins of Eldarath"). It's a temple that closely ressembles the one in Darnassus. I've looked around the game files, and found the .wmo files for the Darnassus Temple. There is no one model for this temple, but instead there are a few .wmo files that basically are assembled by the game to make the whole temple (I assume that's how it works).
So, my questions are:
- Is there a way to edit this .wmo?
- If so, what is the best way to go about it? Should I just do a regular swap with something else? Or should I try looking in .dbc files for something to change?
3) I'm also looking for more general info about how to edit buildings. Is it much harder than simple texture changes? What's the best way to go about it, etc. Is it even possible?
