Spell and Weapon Swap guide

Dont you guys think I am just another one posting my personal request here without reading the posted Thread.

I've searching around but I couldn't find a clear guide to Spell and Weapon Swap.

As I could see, both of them doesn't work like the Race Swap or the Race to Creature Swap.

What I understood from reading here, is that to make the swap you need to edit the DBC files inside the MPQ and later make a new patch-X.mpq

I couldnt fine a good link with a DBC editor, and the DBC editor I downloaded had no guide. The main doubts are "when I know that I edited the DBC?" and "how I put it in the patch-x.mpq?", "wich DBC editor I use and where can I find a guide of it?"

Another thing I had my issues, was to find the visual effect of the spell I wanted to swap. On the spell.dbc I searched the ID but I couldnt be sure if that was the one ID I needed to change to make the swap. "Is there somewhere I can get some list of the spell visual effects?" Like: "Oh the number 870 is the berserking visual effect"

What I wanted to do is to change the Berserking visual effects (the red one) to something more clear, maybe like the Holy form of the priests.
And the weapon, like X weapon to Shadowmourne (but everytime I upgrade my weapon, I could make a fast edit to the new one).
And the last thing, I was thinking to use an item that stacks 10 times, and put the same visual effects of the souls of Shadowmourne.

I think I could make that if someone asnwer my questions.

PS: I forgot to ask, what programs I should use to make it easier, MWME (my warcraft model edit) was a little bit confusing to me, It only worked on race swap for me.

I just wanted to say that for the first part, of the weapon swap, I used the post:

After a LOOOONG time, I managed to change the enchant display of the weapon.
Was really hard, I almost changed all things related to enchant visual fx.

I followed here:

Was hard because the 178 was the berserking... and not the 156.
and I think wasnt located on the patch-engb, was in like patch-engb-2 or 3

I finally did everything I wanted =D

Was hard to learn because its not anymore the column 119, its the 137 that is the display.

So everything you have to do is search the spell ID you want, swap their 137 column and its over.

The column 142 helps a little saying the name of the spell and the column 176 helps with the description.

hey hope u can help me out, tried what u said and when i found what i wanted to swap it just had a "0" in colum 137 so what am i suppose to swap?
