first, sry for my bad english, i hope it wont kill u
my question is, is it possible to change the face of an allready edited character (like if you make a new character)?
i found this guide;
e: cant post links...
and i understand most of it but... do you really need excel to edit faces?
is it possible to search the different types of faces in one of the .mpq folders, create a new .mpq and replace the old data with which you want?
(i hope this sentence was understandable...)
for example the model edit DwM->NeF, open the .mpq, extract, rename and make a new .mpq, does it works for faces too?
the face of my new nightelf is just ugly as hell *lol*
e: ok i found some FaceUpper0x_0x.blp and FaceLower0x_0x.blp in the common.MPQ
via modelviewer i managed do identify which constellation of numbers (0x_0x) are for the face/hairtype/haircolour
i extracted the nightelf FaceUpper and Lower with the numbres i wanted, renamed them (NightElfFemaleFaceLower... > DwarfMaleFaceLower...) and put them in a new patch-X.MPQ file
aaaand... it didn't work :|
what did i wrong? maybe everything :3?
its just that i do this .mpq editing the first time
