Path to GM island

Ok, today i started work on the first .adt edit that im gonna make public. i was wondering if this has been done before on mmowned though so i dont waste my time.

My idea is a walkable path to gm island that you can just follow along until you get there, but im not sure if im going to have to remove barriers from the edges of gm island (are there any?)

As you can see from my post, im still in the early stages of this project and ill update this post as i go along.

EDIT: Sorry guys, after talking this over with some of the other ex-nogg-aholics i realized it would be best not to release it publicly when its finished, but if anyone wants help making something like this, or with any adt editing, you can pm me and i'll do my best to help.

its not possible, one thers a monster that kills u in one hit as soon as u get on the barrier of the island and it notifies GM's. also the onli way of doing that is to replace water with path which isnt possible. the only way to get to GM island is with fly hack and exploit. this thread should be closed now

There is no epic mob on GM Island (doh!) that one hits you and notifies a GM, I wonder where you heard that.

And editing nothing into something is very likely possible. Not very easy, but still can be done. Please think before posting.

well if u some how use MyWowStudio to remove the barrier and then somehow put water templates using a mapedit and put it all into a file it would be da bomb

but first of course u need to find gm island first, from what i heard they moved it back further from where it was, i cant check wowmapview cuz it gives me a error message
