Heya there...
I've been trying to create a mod that changes the Moonkin form to a Keeper of the Groove like the one in Moonglade (Keeper Remulos) but i failed, i got a moonkin with the keeper's .blp
Could anyone help me making it or help anyway? Please

RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting Here you go my friend, decided to make it as it didn't really take very long at all. You didn't say if you were a NightElf or a Tauren so I changed both.
To make it work, copy the patch and paste it in your Data folder, then rename it "Patch-x.mpq".
"x" can be any number from 4 to 9, or any letter from a-z, but only one letter or digit.

I think what you might be doing wrong is that you're only adding the keeper's skin into the moonkin folder. What you need to do is get yourself a DBC editor, extract the CreatureDisplayInfo from Base-2ENGB or whatever it's called, and make the swap using the DBC editor.

I'll try and explain it as easy as I can, the fields in CreatureDisplayInfo you need to change are Field1, Field6, aand Field7.
Find the Moonkin in the files, its 15374 (NE) and 15375 (Tauren), type the ID of the keeper into Field1 (The ID for the Keeper is 25).
Then type the BLP name into Field 6 (KeeperOfTheGroveSkin.BLP).
Then do the same for Field 7 (type in KeeperLeaves2.BLP).
Voila! you're finished.
Then put the DBC file into a patch using MWCS.
Stick the patch in WoW and have yourself some fun.
If that's hard to understand then have a look at some of the guides in the guides and programs section.

OMG! thanks! really thank you.
Wait... mhhm i got "WOW-ERROR" when i logged in wow after putting the patch in the data, its probably cause my server is on version 3.1.3 >.<, well np.

Glad I could help you out, but I don't know what's causing your error, I tested the edit on WoW patch 3.3 and it worked perfectly, without the use of Model Edit Fix or anything like that.
Anyway, hopefully the patch will work once you update your server to the newest version. if not, PM me and I'll have a look at the patch and see if I can find the solution.

Korric if you could make the NE moonkin look like the black/green or red skeleton i would thank you big time!!!. Been trying to do this since the new 3.3 patch but with no success ...the game either crashes or there's no change in-game.

I don't know what to do anymore to make it work and i hate the damn look of the moonkin especially after playing with it for 2years!!

Would appreciate an answer or at least something to get me going again on how to change owl>skeleton. Thx

By the way, what sort of skeleton are you looking for? the Noggenfogger one?
If you could specify which one, that'd be a great help and I'll get straight to work.

Edit: Just checked your mpq file and i did exactly the same as you with the replacement only that i used the yellow skeleton and it's id. Not sure why it didn't worked for me...
