    Problem with Excel!

:wave:Hello there, here's my situation simply put:
I've looked into ubermonkey's guide about race swapping, and at the point when I'm supposed to edit the files through Excel for some reason the columns are not organized the way they are supposed to, it is like as if I just opened a new file on it, columns aren't adjusted. Now I've got 2 versions about what could be the reason:
    1. I'm extremely noobish when it comes to Excel and there might be a function that does what I described, but I'm not aware of!6):
    2. There is just something wrong with my excel, and I need your opinion about it.

I've already made a post in ubermonkey's topic, and I might be abit hasty, but been waiting 3 days for respond and I REALLY want a new, normal model for my character.

*Also, I know that you are prety hostile versus Race Swap requests, but if someone happens to have Orc Male > Night Elf Female and/or Human Female, or is just bored and willing to make them, +Rep is essential for the help (I've got no idea about the values +rep represents, but I'll give you as much as you want/I'm capable of :s) That is just in case my problem does not get solved! I've read posting rules and am not completely sure if this request is bannable/equals instant delete of my post. If it does, please delete the just the request part, thank you!

Don't worry, only threads that are specially posted asking for a swap:

    Code:
Hey guuz, can u do UdM - NeM plz>? ty :D:D:D:D
    Are deleted.

Anyways, a pic of what yours in looking like would be helpful, but I would suggest the obvious answer to this and either reinstall or better yet, upgrade to the newest version of Excel:

I didn't look at the thread you said you were working from, but also make sure he's not using Quattro Pro, there would be a difference from that as well.

Well, he never mentions Quattro Pro during the tutorial, also it seems like my Office is up to date. :s Was dumb of me to not post screenshot tho:

This is the CharSections file as you've probably noticed, first I tried after converting my own, then downloaded the one ubermonkey linked in his thread, the result was the same with both. From what I saw further in his topic there were several replies where people had already happily model editted and were asking him for feedback about their creation with a picture attached... their Excel looked nothing like what I get - the data was sorted in 3 or 4 columns, etc. Since I can't really give link to those pics, thread name is [Guide] Race to Race. All Working Feautres. in the Guides & Programs section, its like the second thread right now with my reply being the last one from 2 days ago.

*here is his reply to a guy that has exactly the same problem like me:
It looks like Excel isn't ordering the files correctly. I'm not sure why. Maybe it isn't reading the csv properly. Try my CharSections csv. If this works then something happening when you converted it. If not then it's something with excel and maybe you need to update or something, i have no idea.
And as mentioned his file didn't work.

The problem is the difference between the locale and the DBCUtil programmer's. In your locale, the separation is done with a ";" as opposed to the "," he takes.

DBCUtil might have a option to use a different separator. If not, you would need to take notepad or whatever to swap the ","s to ";"s and back after editing.

Think I've got what you mean, gonna check it out as soon as I can/am in the mood for it... cheers matey! <3
*Do you have any program in mind that have that option to switch every single separator? Seems like it'll take ages to replace those just by notepad, and I can't find such option in DBCUtil. Thanks in advance!
**Nevermind that haha, seems like I underestimated notepad's options, cheers again!
