question about model editing

Umm, well you can't edit the model with Adobe or Paint because those don't deal model files, just the "picture" part.

You could edit the texture file I suppose but that would just change the coloring or such on the current model... not the 3d model itself. So what I mean to say if you did it, it would make it look like theres a beard spray painted on your character. But you would still have the current model file.
