Hello,
i want to make my first Area Reskin of Zangarmarsh.
I have textures(snow) and treepath(Tileset\Expansion01\Zangarmarsh).
I save textures to this treepath and save patch-4.MPQ-
I start WoW and go to Zangarmarsh...BUT i see old textures(wow original textures)!!!
What is wrong?

I'm glad you have decided to try an area change, the finished product will always take your breath away the first time you see it ingame.

Anyways, the old art of swapping tilesets manually seems to be out-of-date. And from your description I can't pinpoint your exact place of error.

So instead I will point you in the direction of this guide. It brought me back up-to-date dealing with changeing textures/tilesets through the use of an external program Tallis.

To be honest. Old art of swapping tilesets is still the fastest and easiest way to do it. The most common problems with tileset swapping are caused because:
1) You didn't swap the _s files (for almost each texture.blp file there is a texture_s.blp file)
2)You placed/named the files incorrectly (doublecheck)
